Audio Engineer
My name is Izzy (short for Israel).

My job – besides being a good husband to my wonderful wife, Kathryn, and a loving father to my three awesome boys, Eliot, Henry and Colin (which is really more of a privilege) – is to oversee all things audio.  I am the FOH (front of house) sound operator as well as director of the A/V department at Christ the Rock… and I LOVE IT!

I see myself as technical support or an auxiliary, behind-the-scenes, fix-it-if-I-can kind of person.  I also consider myself a part of the worship team, not only as a musician, but… “as an artist using a palette of audible colors, painting an audible picture only to enhance ones worship experience” Yeah… weird.  I also oversee an awesome and faithful team of volunteers who are passionate about serving and making things happen.  Our goal is to be the sight and sound of the ministry.

My wife and I have been a steady part of Christ the Rock since the fall of 2006, and indirectly since 1999.  We love the friendships, the authenticity, and the hunger to know God that is so evident and attractive at CTR.  God is always leading our steps… from college to marriage, from job to job, from kids to more kids, and in serving God with awesome friends and family.  I look forward to what else God has in store for His people.  He is so faithful!
