We are called to serve God in every part of our lives and we have the opportunity and privilage to serve Him by giving cheerfully of our "firstfruits" (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9). Christ gave the ultimate sacrifice by giving of Himself, so we follow suit by gladly sacrificing for the sake of the gospel.
